Curating third spaces for life-long learners

A program of The TBH Movement

Dinner and A Chat aims to create third spaces for life-long learners, inspire dialogue, and promote health and well-being all while enjoying a good meal with excellent company.

Childhood & Adolescent ADHD: From Assessment to Parenting Well

We are launching our first Dinner and A Chat at Rockefellers in Redondo Beach, CA on the topic of Childhood and Adolescent ADHD with the aim of raising awareness around:

  • What is ADHD, and what are the signs to look for?

  • What are the best ways I can support my child with ADHD, and when should I consider medications?

  • When would it be helpful to get my child assessed?

  • What are the strengths that ADHD brings out in my child, and how do we nurture that?

  • How can we best support our child, especially in the home and school environments?

Our guest speakers and panelists will include:

  • Daniel Waldman, MD, is a board-certified Adult, Child and Adolescent psychiatrist specializing in ADHD, neurodivergence and OCD. Dr. Waldman directly serves families in the South Bay.

  • Lev Gottlieb, PhD, is a neuropsychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA and specializes in neurological testing & assessments and care coordination for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Gottlieb is the co-founder of The Integrated Clinic, which provides comprehensive neuropsychological services.

  • Elizabeth Maynard, MS, ET, is an educational therapist and the owner and founder of Educational Therapy Services based in Torrance, CA. Elizabeth started her practice over 30 years ago and has served neurodivergent youth taking a whole-child approach, which emphasizes a parent education program and the role of parents in their child's success.
